Guðmundur Guðmundsson was born in 1845 in Húnavatnssýsla. He died in the Geysir Settlement on February 30, 1910. Spouse: Margrét Jónsdóttir b. 1860 in Húnavatnssýsla. Children: 1. Jónína Ósk b. 1882 2. Sofía Ragnheiður 3. Oddný 4. Áróra Herdís. They came west to New Iceland in 1887 and bought land in the Geysir Settlement which they called Þingeyrar.

Anna Sæmundsdóttir was born in Húnavatnssýsla in 1860. Unmarried. Children: 1. Björn Björnsson b. 1885. He was the son of Björn Sigvaldason. Anna came west to Winnipeg in 1887 with her son.  

Sigurlaug Gunnarsdóttir was born on April 3, 1837 in Húnavatnssýsla. She died on March 21, 1925. Spouse: December 22, 1867 Sigurður Guðmundsson b. in Húnavatnssýsla on December 1, 1840, d. 1898 in Winnipeg. He took the last name Goodman in the west. Children: 1. Ingibjörg Guðrún b.
