Ólöf Davíðsdóttir fæddist 16. mars, 1855 í Snæfellsnessýslu. Dáin í Nýja Íslandi 24. janúar, 1916. Maki: Elías Kjærnested f. í Hnappadalssýslu 25. desember, 1831, d. í Nýja Íslandi 1. september, 1906. Börn: 1. Margrét f. 1875 2. Dagbjört f. 1878. Þau fluttu vestur til Manitoba árið 1891 og settust að í Nýja Íslandi. Þar hét Laufás.
