Indriði Hallgrímsson was born in Myrasysla in 1842. Spouse: Ingveldur Guðmundsdóttir b. í Borgarfjardarsysla in 1849. Children: 1. Guðmundur b. 1871 2. Guðríður b. 1877. They emigrated west to Ontario, Canada in 1878. Settled in Muskoka, Ontario.
