Kristín Jóhannesdóttir fæddist í N. Múlasýslu árið 1807. Dáinn í Gimli í Nýja Íslandi 28. ágúst, 1876. Maki: Bessi Bessason d. á Íslandi 1868. Börn: Þorkell Bessason f. 1840. Kristín fór vestur til Gimli í Nýja Íslandi með syni sínum og fjölskyldu hans árið 1876.
