Lárus Sölvason:  Born in Húnavatnssýsla in 1857. Spouse: Lilja Einarsdóttir b. 1856 in Húnavatnssýsla. Children: 1. Jóhannes b. 1887 2. Edward died young 3. Sigurður 4. Sigríður 5. Sigurbjörg. Lárus later had a son, Kára Skarphéðinn, with Júlíana Bjarnadóttir. They came west in 1890 to Manitoba and then took land in the Víðir-Sandy Hills Settlement.
