Ástráður Jensson fæddist í Barðastrandarsýslu árið 1866. Astradur Johnson vestra. Ókvæntur og barnlaus. Hann fór vestur með foreldrum sínum, Jóni Matthíassyni og Helgu Magnúsdóttur árið 1888. Bjó í Lundarbyggð með foreldrum sínum en tók svo þátt í Klondyke gullæðinu árið 1898 og þar dó hann.

Þorsteinn Sveinsson was born in Húnavatnssýsla on January 26, 1856. Spouse: 1890 Guðbjörg Guðmundsdóttir b. in Húnavatnssýsla in 1866. Children: 1. Margrét 2. Valdimar 3. Hólmfríður 4. Rósa Jóhanna 5. Kristín 6. Guðrún 7. Guðmundína Sigurlína. Þórður and Guðbjörg emigrated west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1888 and took land in the Árnes Settlement in New Iceland.
