Dagmar Agnes Skulason was born in Grand Forks, N. Dakota on June 4, 1904.
Spouse: 1) January 30, 1930 Vasili Sergeevich Ermeneef b. in the Ural Mountains in Russia on January 30, 1898, d. May 14, 1951 2) September 9, 1960 Glenn E Fisher b. September 20, 1899 in Haines, Oregon.
Children: With her first husband: 1. Marika Karen b. November 22, 1930 2. Jón Bardi b. August 25, 1932. Both were born in Honolulu.
Dagmar was the daughter of Barði Skúlason from Reykjavellir in Lýtingsstaðahreppur in Skagafjarðarsýsla and his wife Charlotte Heaton Robinson in N. Dakota. Education came naturally to the Barði children. Dagmar graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1925. After graduating, she went to Honolulu, where she taught for a year and a half. Vasili had fled there from his homeland in 1922. From there, they moved to Portland, Oregon, in 1941.
