Guðrún Eyjólfína Eyjólfsdóttir was born on September 6, 1856 in S. Múlasýsla. She died on May 12, 1931 in the Lundar settlement.

Guðmundur and his sisters, Guðrún Eyjólfína and Stefanía Eyjólfsdóttir came west together to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1882. Guðmundur and Eyjólfína were married there and lived in the community until 1900. They moved to Mary Hill in the Lundar settlement and were farmers.
