Stefania’s parents were Sigtryggur Stefánsson and Guðrún Jónsdóttir, who came west in 1882 and settled in the Argyle settlement. Einar’s parents, Björn Björnsson and Guðný Vilhelmína Einarsdóttir, came west to Manitoba in 1883 with Einar. They took land in the Argyle settlement and Einar grew up and put down roots there. Einar and Stefanía had a farm in the settlement, but then moved to the town of Glenboro as the years passed.
