Sigurður Ingimundur Sigurðsson was born in Mýrasýsla on October 2, 1882. He died in Lundar on January 29, 1965. He had the name Ingimundur Sigurdson in the west.
Spouse: July 16, 1911 Ásta Jóhannsdóttir Straumfjörð b. September 1, 1879 in Mikley, d. September 13, 1966.

Sigurður came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1887 with his parents, Sigurður Sigurðsson and Bergþora Bergþórsdóttir, and siblings. They settled in Mikley where Sigurður grew up and when age allowed, he started fishing. In 1903 there were floods in Lake Winnipeg so the family moved west to the Lundar settlement. Sigurður took land and lived there until 1945, when he moved to Lundar.
