Aðalborg Jónsdóttir was born on June 4, 1862 in N. Múlasýsla. She died in the Geysir settlement in New Iceland on October 26, 1915.
Spouse: November 7, 1900 Bjarni Bjarnason b. August 13, 1856 in Húnavatnssýsla, d. in Manitoba on April 14, 1936.
Children: 1. Björn b. January 16, 1902 2. Margrét Sigurlaug b. January 16, 1902, they were twins.
Bjarni came west alone to Winnipeg in 1887 and worked there for some time. He moved west to the coast and worked in Seattle and further west for a while. He moved from there to N. Dakota and finally to the Geysir settlement in New Iceland in 1900. Aðalborg came west with his foster parents, Björn Halldórsson and Hólmfríður Einarsdóttir, in 1884. Bjarni and Aðalborg lived at Bjarkaland.
