Ingibjörg Guðmundsdóttir was born on October 26, 1844 in S. Múlasýsla. She died in N. Dakota on March 11, 1938.

Children: 1. Guðný Margrét b. November 16, 1884 2. Guðrún Guðfinna b. October 4, 1888. Ingibjörg had a son earlier, Guðni Hansson, b. January 27, 1875. He is listed as Gudni Goodman and lived in Seattle.
Ingibjörg came west to Canada in 1878 and went south to N. Dakota. Friðrik and his first wife, Solveig Benediktsdóttir, came west to Ontario, Canada in 1874. They moved to Lockport, Nova Scotia and lived there until 1880 when they moved west to Winnipeg, Manitoba. There they divorced. Friðrik moved south to the Garðar Settlement in N. Dakota and later to the Sand Hills Settlement.
