Stefán Davíðsson was born in Dalasýsla on June 27, 1849. He died in Iceland on August 22, 1922. Unmarried and childless. He came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1876 and was in New Iceland for a few years.  He then moved south to the Akra Settlement in N. Dakota. He moved back to Iceland in 1909.

Jón Jónsson

Jón Jónsson was born on December 11, 1860 in Dalasýsla. Unmarried and childless. He was the son of Jón Markússon and Guðrún Arngrímsdóttir. He came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1887 and went on to the Argyle Settlement, where his brother Markús lived with his family. Jón lived there the rest of his life.
