Jón Jónsson Vestmann was born in the Westmann Islands (Vestmannaeyjar) on March 20, 1860. He died on May 6, 1920 in Seattle, Washington. Spouse: Soffía Friðriksdóttir b. February 9, 1855 in Eyjafjarðarsýsla, d. December 23, 1932. Children: 1. Jón Vestmann b. 1900 in N. Múlasýsla. They emigrated west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1901 and continued west to the Pacific.

Hermannía Björnsdóttir was born in N. Múlasýsla in 1879. She died in Minneapolis on May 25, 1953. Unmarried and childless. She emigrated west to Minnesota and worked as a housekeeper for  Pálina Loftsdóttir and her husband, Frank Sprout, in Aitkin County. She later moved to Minneapolis and worked as a seamstress.

 Jarþrúður Eyjólfsdóttir was born on March 4, 1843 in S. Múlasýsla. She died on January 18, 1914 in Manitoba. Spouse: Finnur Bjarnason b. October 28, 1839 in S. Múlasýsla, d. October 25, 1914.
