Hólmfríður Tómasdóttir was born on December 28, 1885 in Dalasýsla. Child. Hólmfríður came west to Winnipeg in 1887 with her parents, Tómas Tómasson and Margrét Benediktsdóttir. They settled in the Beaulieu Settlement in N. Dakota. They moved from there to the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð), but it is unclear whether Hólmfríður went with them.

Tómas Hjörtur Tómasson was born in Dalasýsla on July 20, 1868. Child. He came west in 1876 with his father, Tómas Kristjánsson, and siblings. They moved to Manitoba. It is not known what Tómas’ life was like in the west, he possibly died young.  More information is needed.

Tómas Gíslason was born on October 31, 1875 in Dalasýsla. He died in Winnipeg in 1962. Tómas came west to 1889 to Winnipeg with his mother, Sigríður Bjarnadóttir, and siblings. The family settled in the city and Tómas lived there the rest of his life.  Information on Tómas in the west is needed.
