Þóra Eiríksdóttir was born in Árnessýsla in 1888. Spouse: 1913 Gísli Jónsson b. September 1, 1843 in N. Múlasýsla, d. in Gimli in New Iceland on May 26, 1928. Children: 1. Gísli Þórir 2. Kristinn 3. Steinunn 4. Kristín. Another child died young. Þóra emigrated west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1910. They lived in Gimli all the time.
